For those not familiar with the name Kenny Tilton, he is a master shaper with over fifty years of shaping behind him. Tilton's boards are known for their classic lines and look with classic color work and gloss polish finishes. His boards not only look good but also have that classic glide under your feet. Hap Jacobs and Dale Velzy realized his shaping talent in the 50’s and 60’s where he shaped thousands of boards under their labels. Tilton has never stopped shaping but his laid back Hawaiian style and never looking for recognition or limelight has kept him from getting the attention and hype that many of the classic shapers from the 50's and 60's have realized during present day renaissance of retro longboards.
