The outline: Fuller outline from the nose to about 1/4 of the way up from the tail where it uses a tail curve similar to todays high performance shortboards.

The Rocker: Has a tad more nose rocker than a normal fish style board. It has a low entry to a lightly straightend tail rocker.

The Bottom: Single to light double to a light vee off the tail.

The Tail: Swallow recommended, but can be ordered as a squash or round tail.

The Fin setup: The secret that makes this board work so well, use bigger fins. Recommended are FCS Rusty or Merrick template, or can be mixed with MR twins on the sides and a center fin of your choosing.

Surf size range (Hawaiian): 1 to 4 ft. Has been ridden in solid 5 foot Northshore surf but only by the experienced and makes for a wild ride.

Size recommendations: 4'8" to 6'6" should be ordered 2 to 4 inches shorter, 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches wider and 1/8 to 1/2 inch thicker than your normal shortboard.

Shapers comments: This board paddles easy, is fast and loose, can turn on a dime or hold the line. It blazes through the flat spots. An excellent all conditions small wave board. One of my most popular boards. Can also be ordered low volume (thinner deck rails and thinner in the nose and tail).
